C3A Plön 2007

Plon

C3A week in Plön – this time it was not teaching any more, but a real dancing. Practically everybody, who was there a year before for classes, showed up, plus a bunch of other people, for example English. It was quite cold then, the spring was just starting. Dave was calling and already worried about Bödabaden, so he was really tired and did not mingle much. But the important thing was that we danced our fill of C3A.

On Wednesday, when we had a free morning, we went down to Plön and took a round trip by a steam boat on the lake.

You can find a lot of pictures here.

Denmark 2007

Dansko 2007

This year it was quite clear that we would be going to Denmark in the fall. It did not seem so far away any more. This time we decided to take a car, since when we added the time in the airport, flight, train time, and also the trip to Hanne, it came out almost the same as the car trip, and we would be independent on the top of it. This became clear immediately, since on Saturday we could go to Aalborg with one car only.

C3A Gladenbach 2007

Geo Jedlicka

C1 Ölpe 2008

Olpe 2008For me events in Ölpe are, or always were, matters of the heart. Long time ago I went there for a C1 event. Before this I only knew iPAC as far as international event, and this made me eager to try another dance in Germany. I was not too much interested in Czech events, not even considering that there were only two uncooperating C1 squares and only one caller. So I went to Ölpe and it was really something. This event showed that not only iPAC was excellent, but generally dancing in Germany is much better than in Bohemia.

Richard Tuck in Germany 2008

Richard Tuck

Richard Tuck was calling in Heiligenstadt in the spring of 2008. It was a nice C2, in spite of Richard having troubles with jet lag and shaking at times because of it. He managed the weekend though, at least for C2 dancers. Pretty good group got together there, including a bunch of Czechs, and we also met little Ben from Munich. See pictures from Heiligenstadt.

I and Lenka also had a chance to enjoy Richard 14 days later in Gladenbach at a C3A event. He was adapted well there, and we had perfect dancing. It was made even better by Danes, who showed up also. See the C3A pictures.
