Mogers in Czech Republic
After the summer 2007 iPAC we brought the Canadians Don and Avena Moger, whom we did not know before, toPrague with us. Approximately a month ago we hosted Randy Dougherty and his girlfriend and we were little afraid concerning amount and volume of their luggage. But the Mogers were just golden, and we did fit into the car comfortably.
We left on Sunday after the iPAC ended. Originally we wanted to stop in Hamburg in Starbucks to buy a cup for our collection, but because we did not have navigation yet, we got lost in the city, and although I wanted to drive through Berlin, we found ourselves on the freeway to Hannover at the end. Without the cup, of course. The Mogers were a great company, and we nicely got to Prague, had a pizza at the pizza place on Písečná after the long journey, and went to bed. At that time we did not have a guest bed yet, so the Mogers had to sleep on an airbed, but they did not complain at all.
We went to great trips with them. Beyond Prague we also visited Krumlov and Hluboká. Take a look at the photo gallery that documents this trip beautifully. I would also like to say that at that time the sixth volume of Harry Potter was published in English and I immediately bought it during a walk around Wenceslas Square.
We agreed with Don that we would do some dancing in Prague. If you don’t know, Don is a top caller. There were a lot more of us than gathered before for Richard Tuck, and I think, according to the faces on the photos, that we were not dancing only C1 and C2, but also Plus. Don loved how we were all young, fast and capable.
We stay in contact with Don and write each other from time to time.
